2013 has been quite an eventful year in terms of regulatory updates in the Asia-Pacific area. To grasp the pulse of the global regulatory trend is never an easy task.

GB/T 17519-2013, the national standard which provides more detailed guidance on the SDS compilation, as compared with the GB/T 16483-2008, will take effect as of Jan 31st, 2014.
The availability of the English version of the significant standard on ChemLinked might help to relieve some nerves of GHS experts in the face of compliance.
