China MEP Issues New Standard on Water Based Coatings
Scope: Coating / Status: To be implemented / Release: 2014-03-31/ Effective: 2014-07-01

In an effort to reshape China’s coating industry, Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) approved new standard of water based coatings and made some changes to the former standard.

 
Supporting Documents under the Measures for Physical Hazard Identification and Classification for Chemicals Released

Final versions of application forms and report templates were released, with further specifications of the applicable scope and methods of joint identification and serial identification.

 
Catalogue and Classification of Precursor Chemicals Updated
Scope: Precursor Chemicals / Status: Effective / Release: 2014-05-12/ Effective: 2014-05-12

Two substance were newly designated as Category I Precursor Chemicals under the control scheme of Regulations on the Administration of Precursor Chemicals (State Council Decree 445).
