China NCSN Guidance Document to be Issued by the End of This Year
The draft amendment of China NCSN Guidance Document is expected to undergo public consultation by the end of this year. Before official publication, existing procedures should be followed.
 
China Releases IECSC Inclusion Procedures
The procedures of including notified new chemical substance into the IECSC from eligible notifiers who have completed notification under SEPA Order 17 were finalized and the practical listing work is now underway.
 
MEP Punishes Five NCSN Certificate Holders
China MEP issued a written decision on the administrative penalty for five certificate holders that have failed to submit the annual report of year 2012 production or import activities of new chemical substances reports.
 
China NCSN: 2014 Notification Statistics
63 regular notifications, 1,559 simplified notifications and 472 scientific research record notifications have been approved in the first half of 2014. More re-notifications for increased tonnage band and repeat notifications have been submitted

In China NCSN mixtures are categorized as "substances without unique molecular structure." The difficulties of notifying mixture lie in strategy choosing and testing method choice.
 
China NCSN Ecotoxicology Testing Report to Be Standardized
In the future, only testing reports generated by MEP GLP certified ecotoxicology laboratories within the accreditation validity period will be accepted for China new chemical substance notification.
