Regulation on Registration of New and Existing Chemical Substances
Scope: Taiwan new and existing chemical / Status: In Force / Release: 2014-12-5/ Effective: 2014-12-11

Compared to the draft chemical registration regulations, the finalized new regulations implemented on Dec 11th 2014 includes some significant changes including alteration of tonnage bands, joint registration, transitional measures and confidentiality protection.

 
Guidance on Data and Cost Sharing Under K-REACH
Scope: K-REACH / Status: In Force / Release: 2015-1-7/ Effective: 2015-1-1

Joint submission of registration dossiers on the same chemicals is an obligation under K-REACH with the goal of reducing the burden on the industry and avoiding duplicate generation of test data.

 
Regulation of New Chemical Substances Registration
Scope: Taiwan OSHA / Status: In Force / Release: 2014-12-31/ Effective: 2015-1-1

Chemicals containing a new chemical substance cannot be manufactured or imported prior to submitting the chemical safety report (CSR) to the central competent authority and receiving registration approval.
