Interpretation of China’s Inventory of Hazardous Chemicals (2015) Seminar will be held in Japan
China’s Inventory of Hazardous Chemicals (2015) will take effect from 1 May 2015. On 21 Apr 2015, The Chemical Daily will host “Interpretation on Inventory of Hazardous Chemicals (2015) Seminar” in Tokyo, Japan. REACH24H will present topics concerning on the possible influences of newly published inventory, and compliance strategies on hazardous chemical registration in China. |

Two potential SVHC dossiers are open to the public consultation
On 2 Mar 2015, ECHA has proposed two substances to be identified as substances of very high concern (SVHCs), and is consulting on dossiers containing proposals to identify SVHCs. If substances are identified as SVHCs, they will be added to the Candidate List for eventual inclusion in the Authorisation List. |

ECHA Adopted the CoRAP for 2015-2017 with 134 substances to be evaluated
On 17 Mar 2015, ECHA has adopted the final Community rolling action plan (CoRAP) for 2015-2017 with 134 substances to be evaluated (CoRAP 2015-2017 list). In the coming three years, 21 Member States will carry out substance evaluation for 66 newly selected substances and 68 substances from the previous CoRAP update. |

USA TSCA Compliance by Polymers: Make No Detours!
Although a polymer meeting the exemption criteria can exempt from a PMN submission, there are still other regulatory obligations that must be fulfilled such as making a certification statement, record keeping and reporting. REACH24H believes that the polymer issue can be both simple and somewhat complicated, depending on whether or not a polymer exemption is possible, hence the need for comprehensive analysis of the specific product under TSCA. |
