NHFPC revises List of Occupational Hazard Factors
18 May 2015 China NHFPC issued the draft List of Occupational Hazard Factors, which is an important part of the legal framework to safeguard the life, health and other rights of the labor force. The draft list is now open for public comment.

18 May 2015 Following Thailand DIW, FDA plans to be the second Thai authority requiring GHS classification data and labels for chemicals falling under its management.
 
950 Substances to Be Added into Korea’s Existing Chemical Inventory
13 May 2015 A list of 950 substances to be appended into the South Korea’s Existing Chemical Inventory (KECI) was issued by MoE. If approved, the KECI will be updated to a total of 53,867 existing chemical substances.
 
China Consults on General Safety Requirements for Food Contact Materials and Products
8 May 2015 The General Safety Requirements for Food Contact Materials and Products was newly drafted and is now available on the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) website for public consultation.
 
Japan to Revise List of Poisonous and Deleterious Chemicals
22 May 2015 Japanese MHLW announced the draft amendment to the sub-regulations of the Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law (PDSCL). The draft is open for public consultation now, which will end on June 10th.
