3 June 2015 MIIT issued the Administrative Measures on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (Draft) for public consultation, which will end on June 17th.

1 June 2015 Standardization Technical Committee of Coatings and Pigments (SAC/TC5) published three industrial standards for water based coatings to more tightly regulate these products.

22 May 2015 MHLW announced the draft amendment to the sub-regulations of the Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law (PDSCL). The draft is open for public consultation now, which will end on June 10th.
