South Korea Issues Guidance on Annual Reporting under K-REACH
2 March 2016 South Korea issued the English summary of the Guidance on Reporting by Overseas Manufacturer or Producer on 26 Feb 2016. Stakeholders should keep in mind that the deadline for the first annual reporting is 30 Jun 2016.

Korea GHS: New Hazard Class and Updated Codification of H/P Statements
2 March 2016 Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor proposed amendements to the Standards for Classification and Labeling of Chemical Substances and Material Safety Data Sheet to align Korea GHS standard with UN GHS Rev.4.

Revision of New Chemical Management under Korea OSHA Effective From 1 May 2016
29 February 2016 The revision to Article 86, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Rule of Occupation Safety and Health Acts in terms of manufacture and importation of new chemical substances will become effective on 1 May 2016.

China to Publish Recommended Standard on Chemical Hazard and Precautionary Statement
29 February 2016 According to Notice No.43 of Standardization Administration of China, GB/T 32374-2015 Phrase and Codification of Chemical Hazard Statements has been approved and will enter into force on Jan 1, 2017.

China Revises Hazchem Production Licensing Rules for Compressed and Liquefied Gases
29 February 2016 General AQSIQ of China issued Notice No. 15 announcing the partial revisions to the Implementation Rules for Production License of Industrial Products. The revised rules entered into force immediately.
