China IECSC: 31 Substances Supplemented
16 March 2016 MEP published 31 substances that were supplemented to IECSC. They were registered under previous NCSN and there has been five years since they were first manufactured, imported or exported.

China Notifies WTO: New Chemical Substance Notification Guidance (Draft)
11 March 2016 China MEP notified the Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade under WTO a draft guidance on China new chemical notification (G/TBT/N/CHN/1170). The Guidance is proposed to enter into force on 1 Nov 2016.

Taiwan Pre-registration of Existing Chemical Substances to End on 31st of Mar 2016
11 March 2016 Taiwan launched Phase 1 registration for existing chemical substance manufactured or imported in amounts over 100kg/year on 1 Sep 2015. Pre-registration will end on 31 Mar 2016.

Hubei Province to Enforce First Local Soil Protection Law
10 March 2016 Hubei Province passed the Regulation of Prevention and Treatment of Soil Pollution. The regulation is the first local regulation on soil protection and will take effect from Oct 1st 2016.
