Vietnam: GHS Requirements Extend To Mixtures
29 March 2016 In accordance with Circular 4/2012/TT-BCT issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (MOIT) in 2012, the GHS requirements will be extended to all mixtures from March 30th 2016. |

China NCSN Guidance (Draft)_WTO Verison of 8 Mar 2016
On 8 Mar 2016, China MEP notified the Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade under WTO a draft guidance on China new chemical notification (G/TBT/N/CHN/1170). According to the notification, the Guidance is proposed to enter into force on 1 Nov 2016.

Interpretation of China's Latest New Chemical Substance Notification Guidance (Draft) and IECSC Supplementation
On March 8, 2016, China MEP notified the Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade under World Trade Organization (WTO) a draft guidance on China new chemical notification. According to the WTO notification, the Guidance is proposed to enter into force on 1 Nov 2016. The Guidance specifies the applicable scope, notification type and procedure, dossier requirements, and post-notification supervision and management of new chemical substances.

Taiwan TCSCA and OSHA Compliance Strategies after the Pre-registration Deadline of March 31st
As the deadline of March 31 for pre-registration of existing chemical substances in Taiwan comes close, there are increasing concerns over the follow-up implementation of late pre-registration as well as possible punishment for companies failed to complete Phase 1 registration in time. After the application window for grace period of new chemical registration closed on December 31, 2015, a new move taken by Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) is the issuance of a 2nd version of Guidance on Scientific Research and Development (SR&D) and Product and Process Orientated Research and Development (PPORD) on March 10, 2016, triggering much confusion among companies over differences between the first and second version.
