China MEP passed the Draft Inventory of Hazardous Waste
6 May 2016 On March 30th 2016, MEP passed the latest version of the draft Inventory of Hazardous Waste in principle and decided to publish the draft Inventory with other competent authorities later.

6 May 2016 On 25 Apr 2016, South Korea’s National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) announced the update of the Toxic Chemical Substance List (TCSL) along with GHS classifications by NIER Announcement No.2016-6.
 
South Korea Issued Hazard Evaluation Results for 253 New Substances Registered under K-REACH
6 May 2016 South Korea’s NIER issued the NIER Announcement No.2016-5, through which the results of hazard evaluation of 253 new substances registered under K-REACH from Jan to May of 2015 were made public.
 
NHFPC Approves 23 New Varieties of Food-related Products
4 May 2016 NHFPC published Announcement No.6-2016 stating that the safety evaluation materials of 23 new varieties of food related products have passed the NHFPC’s technical review.

179 PECs Already Elected Lead Registrant under K-REACH
