China MEP Consults on Batch 3 Regular Notifications to Be Approved under China NCSN in 2017
6 Apr 2017 China MEP issued the third batch of China new chemical substance notifications to be approved in 2017 for public consultation. Certificates will be formally issued if no objections are submitted until 8 Apr 2017.
 
MEP Published List of Excluded Hazardous Wastes
5 Apr 2017 MEP published the draft of List of Excluded Hazardous Wastes. The exclusion list will function as an important support in the management of hazardous wastes together with the exemption list.
 
23 Enterprises Obtained Pollutants Emission Permits
5 Apr 2017 Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) launched an online information system of the pollutants emission permit where enterprises could apply for the permits. A total number of 23 enterprises have obtained their emission permits from the system.
 
South Korea Issues 322 New Chemical Substances Registered under OSHA
5 Apr 2017 South Korea’s MoEL issued 322 new chemical substances registered under Korea OSHA in 2016, of which 81 substance are classified as “acute toxicity” or “reproductive toxicity”.
 
List of K-REACH Lead Registrants Published for 308 PECs
1 Apr 2017 Updated on 31 Mar 2017, 308 priority existing chemical substances (PECs) have finished LR election, of which 6 PECs newly completed the election process.
